Hi Cliff,
in that case you installed a UC – Unicode map. You need to chose the Non Unicode (_NU) version instead.

I have an etrex 30x and when I log on I get the following comment,

‘can’t authenticate map’s. Contact the seller’.

Which I can’t stop. Can you add anything? I’m contacting Garmin also.
