There are still bugs regarding search in mkgmap - the map compiler.... (as for Vienna - there is actually a "Vienne" in Limousin... but of course that shouldn't be the problem...) When searching for i.e. Vienna I ended up in France etc. etc. Today I downloaded the Czech Republic country map. Same problem: searching for cities gives results that are hundreds of kilometers of target. Tracks, poi's etc. are shown correctly. Would anybody know what I perhaps do wrong? I just downloaded belbium and there is no missing tile. I don't know what you are doing. Ur screenshot looks like MacOSx. So maybe you do a mistake when converting.
