Special Terms regarding Openmtbmap/Velomap Membership / Donations
Even though I now run adverts openmtbmap.org and www.velomap.org, the most important thing to me are satisfied and happy VeloMap Members. Without you and your donations, I could not run this website. Therefore I treat any data acquired during registration as private as possible (see also privacy section further down). I will not sell or give away any personal data from donators if not forced by law. This includes especially and bank account data or paypal email addresses.
As I also offer "lifelong" memberships, I want to say again, that the main purpose of the donations is to support openmtbmap and velomap map development and keep the homepage running and up to date, not the benefits that come with the donation. If I can do so, I will honor all lifelong memberships for at least 10 years (I can do so, if it provides a living for me). I will keep this in any case with the exception that I become unable to run the websites (be it an accident or an unforeseen event (major force) that makes me unable to run the websites. Should I sell openmtbmap.org or www.velomap.org, the buyer will have to honor the memberships too (except for the case of bankruptcy)
Privacy
Information Automatically Logged
As with most other websites, I collect and use the data contained in log files. The information in the log files include your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider, such as AOL or Shaw Cable), the browser you used to visit our site (such as Internet Explorer or Firefox), the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site. Web activity is tracked with Google Analytics and WordPress.com Stats for my own statistics, and for advertisement purposes by IVW and AGOF.

When you comment or subscribe to an email list, you are asked for your name, email address and optionally website. Your email and other information might be used for contacting you about updates to Openmtbmap.org, and, when you’ve subscribed to the newsletter, for regular newsletters (Newsletter not yet available). Your personal information will not be distributed to anyone for any purpose (except I’m forced to by legal reasons under pressure of judicial decision). I am in strong favour of privacy and oppose any laws that try to take your privacy.

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. No system can be perfect, but I try my best to keep your data safe.

If a provision of this Agreement is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that shall not affect:
- the validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of any other provision of this Agreement; or
- the validity or enforceability in other jurisdictions of that or any other provision of this Agreement."
